Garden

which overlooks the gardens, giving it its name. This large room is decorated
in pastel greens with enough floral decor to bring the outside in. Antiques
mix with today as Victorian dolls wait your arrival. Accommodations vary depending
on your needs- either 1 king size or 2 twin beds. The Garden Room has a full
private bath with whirlpool tub & shower, central air conditioning, and

Native
American Room - Rich in Native American History, Northport originally
was called Waukazooville after Ojibwa Chief Peter Waukazoo. Artistically decorated
in rustic furniture with tribal accents, this room is reminiscent of those times,
but with luxuries unknown to these early settlers. Accommodations include a
queen-sized bed, private bath with claw-foot tub, central air conditioning,
cable TV, windows overlooking the gardens and backyard stone fireplace and beautiful
sunsets on the western horizon.
Buckboard
Room - Feel like one of Northport's earliest settlers pulling
up to the homestead in an antique buckboard wagon, your parasol shielding you
from the sun's hot glare. Unload your trunk and relax in the comfortable queen-sized
bed. This room is slightly smaller than the others, but big on charm including
a lovely garden view. Accommodations include a full private bath, tub &

Winnie's
Room - Winifred Hutchinson, as the daughter of this home's original
owners, enjoyed life to the fullest whether under this roof composing a favorite
poem or exploring the grounds delighting in encounters with nature. This room
is a tribute to her and the legacy she left in her autobiography. With the lace
and wicker accents of pastel decor, charm is its key definitive. Accomodations
include a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower, cable TV, and room air
conditioner.
Copper
Beech Room - The majesty of the copper beech tree just outside
your window is sure to be a favorite view. With leaves glowing in color and
swept into sound by the peninsula's blowing winds, relaxation will set the pace
for your visit. Either a king-size or two twin beds, depending on your needs,
sit atop the stenciled wooden floors of this angular room. The Copper Beech
Room has a private bath with tub and shower, cable TV, and room air conditioner.
